چکیده

Alter Breath-hold duration Increasing parallel-imaging factors (up to x 4 routinely) will reduce breath-hold with minimal impact on SSFP quality. Reduce spatial resolution small reductions in phase resolution will significantly reduce breath-hold Increasing the echo train/segments shorten breathhold, with slight decrease in temporal resolution Increase the number of averages(3-5) for free-breathing cine images in sedated/deaf subjects Utilise increased SNR to acquire 2 slices per breathhold in good breath holders to shorten exam time

Fetal blood flow measured using phase contrast MRI-comparison of image quality and flow volume at 1.5T with 3.0T

Background Ultrasound is commonly used for the antenatal assessment of a fetus and it can provide functional and haemodynamic data in addition to anatomical details. The accuracy of the former is dependant on angle of insonation, maternal habitus and fetal position. Phase contrast cardiovascular magnetic resonance (PC CMR) has emerged as a clinical tool for blood flow quantification but its use...

Lessons Learned from the European Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (EuroCMR) Registry Pilot Phase

The data from 11,040 patients of the European Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (EuroCMR) registry pilot phase offer the first documentation of the clinical use of CMR in a routine setting. The pilot data show that CMR is frequently performed in clinical practice, is a safe procedure with excellent image quality, and has a strong impact on patient management. In the future, the EuroCMR registry...

Nu Nurse residency program: a promising, yet neglected strategy for the education of senior nursing students

Quality and safety of patient care remarkably depend on the competency of healthcare providers. As predominant caregivers, nurses crucially influence the quality of patient care (1). On the other hand, as major educational organizations, nursing schools must offer competent expertise to the students in order to warrant high-quality patient care. In this regard, finding efficient methods to grad...
